Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. General Overview

Thank you for subscribing to NibandhAI. We strive to ensure our users receive the best experience with our AI-powered educational tools. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a PRO subscription or additional AI essay credits.

2. 7-Day Refund Policy

We offer a transparent, fair **7-Day Refund Policy** for all PRO subscription plans. If you do not find NibandhAI suitable for your UPSC essay preparation, you can request a refund of your remaining, unused essay credits within 7 days of payment.

To trigger your refund programmatically, go to your **Dashboard**, navigate to the Subscriptions panel, and click **"Request Refund"** within the 7-day window. The remaining credits will be immediately revoked, and the prorated refund amount representing your remaining balance will be credited back to your original payment method.

⚖️ Transparency Notice: How Prorated Refunds are CalculatedYour refund is calculated proportionally based on your remaining essay credits. For example:
  • Monthly PRO Plan: You pay ₹399 for 350 essay credits (valued at ~₹1.14 per credit).
  • If you have 250 credits remaining at the time of refund, your exact refund will be ₹285 (250 remaining credits × ₹1.14 per credit).
  • For multi-month plans (Quarterly, Bi-Annual, Annual), you receive a 100% refund for all subsequent pre-paid months, plus the prorated credit balance of your current active month.

3. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your PRO subscription at any time. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.

  • To cancel your subscription: Go to your Dashboard, navigate to the Billing section, and click "Cancel Subscription".
  • You will retain access to the PRO features and your remaining essay credits until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months of service outside of the initial 7-day refund window.

4. Additional Exceptions

We may, at our sole discretion, offer a credit or billing adjustment in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate Charges: If you were incorrectly charged multiple times for the same transaction.
  • Service Outages: If the NibandhAI platform experiences a severe, prolonged outage that prevents you from using your credits for more than 72 continuous hours.

To request adjustments under these exceptions, you must contact us at support@nibandhai.in within 7 days of the incident, providing your account details and proof of the issue.

5. Account Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated by us due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions, you will not be entitled to any refund for unused tokens or remaining subscription time.
